Welcome to my page!

My name is Tomoe, but please call me Tommy. I am a personal interpreter based in Kobe. I worked as an in-house translator for over 7 years and had also been a personal interpreter for 10 years.

I love traveling both domestically and internationally, enjoying local cuisines and connecting with people through great conversations. I have visited 7 destinations worldwide and visited 42 out of Japan’s 47 prefectures so far.

What I am familiar with

Kobe Sannomiya, Rokko Mountain, Tarumi-Maiko (Pearl Bridge area), Akashi, Himeji, Kinosaki, Arima, Sasayama, and Awaji. I am most familiar with Kobe as I’ve been living here for over 25 years.
Umeda area The central part of Osaka. I am also familiar with Umeda as I used to work in the area.

Fukuoka Prefecture In Kyushu.
Yamagata Prefecture My hometown known for its stunning natural beauty, amazing Japanese sake, and countless hot springs.

Up to 2 adults	$300 USD
One family (up to 6 people)	$400 USD

Services are available for up to 3 consecutive days per group.
Hourly guiding is negotiable.
Prices include multiple counseling sessions to create a personalized itinerary in advance, as well as emergency assistance if necessary.
Please note that for groups of 4 to 6 people, using taxis may be challenging.
My and the customer’s transportation expenses, accommodation fees if required, taxi fares, and meals are not included in the service rate. These costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
